A Very Fine Exceptionally Well Figured Flame Mahogany Victorian Twin Pedestal Desk of outstanding quality and generous proportions, retaining its original fine colour and patination, third quarter of the Nineteenth Century of English origin.
The solid rectangular top with moulded edge inset with a later superb well tooled black leather very beautifully done using gold leaf, above three drawers and a kneehole flanked by six further drawers complete with polished brass decorative handles, each pedestal ending on a platform base. Oak Lined drawers throughout.
Condition: Superb condition, this piece has recently been professionally restored in keeping with its period finish. Note its original polished brass decorative handles. All locks are present with one original key.
