Technical Description
 
A 19th century Bristol Green decanter. Mell form with a tapering neck and a squat body. A polished pontil completes the piece. This form almost always had cork stoppers.
 
Historical Relevance
 
Hand-blown around the time the first portion of Southend Pier was completed in 1830.
