An attractive Regency giltwood pier glass, the architectural frame with a wide cornice over a concave frieze over an acanthus border, with below a verre églomisée panel with a riverside scene with a windmill, sailing boats, a cottage and figures in the Dutch style, and fluted pilasters around a bevelled plate. English, circa 1810.
Condition: Overall very good; the plate is probably the original and the gilding is in good order with a few minor losses, the backboards are both present and appear to be original.
