A supreme quality example of a 19th-century music stool in best quality mahogany. The upholstered seat rotates freely to adjust height. The lowest setting the seat can be is 50 cm high. This beautiful Regency stool has a piped suede covering which is perfectly usable as it is, but could easily be re-covered in a fabric of your choice at a later date. It retains its original finish with an exquisite depth of colour and patination to the highly-figured top quality timbers. It is English, dating from c.1820s.
