A fine example of a solid Sterling Silver sugar caster. It is a stylish good quality piece, weighing approximately 158g. It is hallmarked for Burton & Waters, Birmingham, 1930. The outer hallmark is slightly rubbed but the one inside the top is very clear.
It is in good condition for its age. There are no major damages and it displays beautifully. There are some faint surface marks and a few light scratches and minor dinks but nothing detrimental. It has been gently cleaned and polished is ready for use.
