Unusual Antique Sterling Silver Bookmark / Photograph Frame - 1897

A fabulous and highly collectable bookmark made from English sterling silver incorporating a small glazed photograph frame.
 
The frame opens at the side to change the picture within. The reverse side is where the full hallmark can be found for London 1897, a true Victorian example. The makers mark is also present for the John Millward Banks. This example is also lucky enough to have an English design registration number also dating the piece to 1897.
 
Excellent condition 7 3/4'' x 1 1/4''.
