The pietra dura panel is florentine and typical of the type but particularly fine with the most interesting blue stone. The setting is in bronze which has been gilded but mostly the gilding has gone. The setting opens to reveal three oval apertures for photos. There is a retaillers mark on the easel support. The whole is in excellent condition and the finest quality.
