Sheffield 1941 English hallmarked solid silver unusual and heavy spoon made by Gladwin Ltd in the Old English pattern, and with a plain stem, suitable for engraving if desired.
Beautifully crafted and made in a very thick gauge, this is a very unusual spoon, with long sideways elongated bowl and deep edge to back.
Useful for serving sauce or cream.
Weight-45 grams, unusually heavy.
Size-5 inches by 2 inches.
Size of case-6.5 inches long by 2.75 inches wide by 1.25 inches high.
In very good condition, with very clearly struck hallmarks, in the original stunning case, with just scuffing to exterior. This would make a lovely presentation as a gift.
