Sheffield 1941 English hallmarked solid silver unusual and heavy spoon made by Gladwin Ltd in the Old English pattern, and with a plain stem, suitable for engraving if desired.Beautifully crafted and made in a very thick gauge, this is a very unusual spoon, with long sideways elongated bowl and deep edge to back.Useful for serving sauce or cream.Weight-45 grams, unusually heavy.Size-5 inches by 2 inches.Size of case-6.5 inches long by 2.75 inches wide by 1.25 inches high.In very good condition, with very clearly struck hallmarks, in the original stunning case, with just scuffing to exterior.
