As part of our oriental collection we are delighted to offer this superb quality Japanese cloisonne vase from the 19th century Meiji period , this fine vase is finished in a deep aqua blue enameled ground decorated throughout in fine silver wire and depicting cockerels below trailing prunus blossom , a most unusual shape in the manner of Hayashi Kodenji with further decorated geometric borders to the base and lip.
The condition of cloisonne is vital and we are pleased to report this vase is perfect with no damage or restorations , a must have for serious collectors of fine Japanese Cloisonne !!
