This Pair of Edwardian Engliah Brass Column Flame Newel Post Lamps date from circa 1910.
They stand approximately 18.25 inches (46.5 cm) high (to the top of the glass shade).
They are marked to the base ''Made In England A440''. There is also a incised cipher.
The Lamps are in overall good condition with just some minor dings to the brass. The Flame Glass Shades have small chips to the bottom rim where they sit in the brass collar of the lamp, so are not seen. Both of the Shades have a chip to the pinnacle of the flame. There are no cracks.
As can be seen in the photographs, the Lamps are drill in the base to allow them to be fixed to a solid surface, eg., Newel Posts, Mantelpiece or in a Conservatory or Garden Room. They require rewiring by a professional Electrician before use.
