This is an exceptional example of a very rare gents solid 9ct gold pocket watch chronograph made by Omega.
This watch is Museum Quality and looks as if it has never been worn its unmarked and just perfect and original in every detail.
The case is fully hallmarked and dates its manufacture to 1936.
The gilt finished calibre 39 Chro movement has just been fully serviced and is running to within original temekeeping specification, the single button chronograph works and resets perfectly. This is the first Omega chronograph with column wheel selection, the great grandaddy to the legendary calibre 321 used by the Apollo astronauts 321. Only 6900 of these movements were ever made, this is a movement built to impress.
The original white enamel dial is perfect there are no hairlines, cracks, chips or blemishes it is perfect. It has matching peacock blue and rose gold hands again umblemished.
This is an exceptional find, it looks like it has been kept in a drawer its whole life and probably never used, it would make a wonderful gift.
