Georgian Mahogany Hanging Candlebox Circa 1780

Lovely George III inlaid mahogany hanging candlebox of house shape with shell inlay to door and various boxwood and ebony chequer inlaid lines. Door is secured with clip catch released by side brass button. All in fine un-touched original condition but with slight damage to inlay on front top corners. Lovely rich colour with fine waxed patina. FRESH ON MARKET STRAIGHT FROM SCOTTISH MANSION HOUSE.
