Record Dreadnought ‘Trenton’ pocket watch.
The watch has a seven jewel stem-winding movement (three adjustments) which is working nicely. The movement is signed Record Dreadnought and it also has the name Trenton, one of a number of model names used by the company. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover which has some short scratches where a tool appears to have slipped in the past.
The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is the gold plated Star model from the Dennison Watch Case Company. Dennisons was a Birmingham based case manufacturer who supplied cases for various watch makers. The case is in good condition, just light surface marks, nothing serious at all.
The acrylic lens is in good condition (some reflection showing in the photos).
The signed dial has a handsome appearance with original blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track with red numerals. There is a short hairline between 7 and 8 but not immediately noticeable to the naked eye.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.

All of our watches are checked over before listing, and are also checked for accuracy which is usually within around +/- two to three minutes over 24 hours (unless otherwise stated), which is considered respectable for a vintage watch.
