A fine and rare Minton porcelain figurines of a boy with full basket of flowers and sitting girl weaves a long garland of colorful fresh flowers, circa 1830. An English porcelain hand-painted figurines made by the renowned Minton porcelain makers, it stands on an oval rounded base decorated with flowers. The figures are dressed in traditional clothes, painted in vibrant colors and decorated with flowers patterns. The figurines are very finely hand-painted with excellent detailing, including the floral patterns and clear facial details. Predominant colors are vibrant shades of dark blue, yellow and pink.

Minton Porcelain Company was one of the pioneers of English china production alongside other great potters such as Spode, Davenport, Ridgway, Coalport and others. They were located in Staffordshire and were known specifically for their wonderfully fine white bone china and bright colors; Minton supplied huge quantities of tableware’s, tiles, and other items to the USA in the 19th century; the White House was traditionally supplied with Minton crockery and many great buildings of this era were tiled with Minton tiles, including The House of Parliament. Minton, the English porcelain company, is recognized worldwide for high-quality porcelain products in the general market and the antiques marketplace.

Condition: A few minimal chips to the flowers, age crazing to the enamel that can only be seen under a magnifying glass, a chip to the boy''s hat.
Otherwise the figures are in exceptionally good condition.
