Grand Tour Bronze Tripod Stand

A good quality French 19th Century Grand Tour patinated bronze oil lamp tripod stand of good size, after the antique in the neo pompeian style. Very similar to examples in the Museo Archeologico Nazionale di Napoli. Unmarked but the style and quality are identical to other examples signed by, or attributed to, Ferdinand Barbedienne. Circa 1850.
